Loading AREDN on recent RBSXTsq5nD devices (?Mfd July 2026)
Success cam with
aredn-4.26.7.0-ath79-mikrotik-mikrotik_routerboard-sxt-5nd-initramfs-kernel.bin
and then
aredn-4.26.7.0-ath79-mikrotik-mikrotik_routerboard-sxt-5nd-squashfs-sysupgrade-v7.bin
.
These devices identified with
SN:HMJ0B08WC40/r2 to
SN:HMJ0BFR9YHD/r2

Using
aredn-4.26.7.0-ath79-mikrotik-mikrotik_routerboard-sxtsq-5nd-initramfs-kernel.bin
and then either
aredn-4.26.7.0-ath79-mikrotik-mikrotik_routerboard-sxtsq-5nd-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin
or
aredn-4.26.7.0-ath79-mikrotik-mikrotik_routerboard-sxtsq-5nd-squashfs-sysupgrade-v7.bin
failed to return to a working web page.

I ordered these SXTsq5nD devices in April and they arrived a few days ago.
I tried to load the factory.bin and sysupgrade.bin the same way I have done
for a few years. Failed.

Typically when I pull the devices out of the box, their first power up (by me)
is in TFTP mode and I immediately Ioad a factory.bin and sysupgrade.bin.
Apparently these devices were RouterOS7 and require the firmware that
omits the 'sq' after 'sxt' and 'v7' sysupgrade.
These SXTsq5nD devices were advertised at $46.
I thought that was a great price, so I ordered a few.
