LiteBeam 5AC Gen2 install
Trying to install subj using https://arednmesh.readthedocs.io/en/latest/arednGettingStarted/installin... instructions and https://downloads.arednmesh.org/afs/www/?version=4.26.1.0&target=ath79%2...

(I forgot to write down the factory hardware version) Only tftp upload of 8.7.4 allows me to pass step 1. After successfully finishing steps 2 and 3, the device is not really do anything, as well as after 10 minutes and rebooting: cannot ping 192.168.1.{1,20,254}. Also, tried to follow openwrt's hack by writing sysupgrade directly into /dev/mtdblocks -- same results.

What data can I gather at this point to complete a report? Thanks.

I recently did a few of these, I think the steps I followed were as follows
  1. follow the initial ubiquiti steps to setup i.e. add country and set password.
  2. Downgrade the firmware using WA.v8.7.4.45112.210415.1103.bin from the ubiquiti side, downgrade done from the webUI on the LiteBeam
  3. reboot and make sure it is back up
  4. Then I just followed steps 2 and 3 from the install link above.

Thanks. The steps above no
Thanks. The steps above no different I followed earlier. Except password was already set and it just let's me to login into the webUI. The v8.7.4 was downloaded directly from ubiquiti and uploaded/downgraded using webUI (instead of tftp). The result is the same: steps 2 and 3 success, but I cannot ping 192.168.1.1 or use a browser to access it. See log attached
