Linksys SWR224

Hi all

Long time reader, first time postersmiley.

I have been using a couple of Linksys SWR224 switches for years at home.

Having recently discovered AREDN, I have been playing with a mesh gateway using a LocoM2 - connected to this switch.  I have been trying to alter VLAN1 on the switch, without success.  It appears, the 'default' VLAN1 is set in stone and can not be altered, I understand this is a Linksys/Cisco thingsad.

Having read quite a few AREDN posts they all seem to end in - something to the effect of 'get the right hardware'.  So I have relented, a GS105E on its waysmiley.

However, in an effort to exhaust all options with my trusty old switches, I thought it best to ask.  Perhaps there is a work around for my problem, perhaps an ability to move the WAN connection to another VLAN number in the AREDN firmware?  Perhaps there is a closely guarded firmware upgrade (I could not find one on the interwebs) for the switch that would free up VLAN1?

Many thanks

No becuase the VLAN numbering
No becuase the VLAN numbering assignment is part of the "V3" protocol spec in order to ensure consistency across deployments and to support a plug and play architecture.
