I'll start here and ask, and if it's not yet a feature request in process move this over to Github. I also seem to remember this topic being discussed before somewhere ...
When logged in as Admin, under Network Advanced options ... there is a slider for Mesh to WAN. I know how to use it and it does work but I would like to have a field appear underneath to optionally restrict what nodes can access my WAN when I have this activated. I could either enter the hostname of the node authorized to access my WAN, or the ip address of that node.
I need this function so I can more easily do admin work on services and devices hosted in remote locations that do not have internet access. I have no interest in leaving this on for WAN access once I am done with maintenance. As of now, I either travel to the remote site and setup a cell phone hot spot to provide internet so I can work while there, or expose the entire mesh network to the internet with the existing Mesh to WAN slider while I do maintenance.
Is this already contemplated, underway, ?? Thanks, Ed
