IRC channel
Anyone interested in an IRC channel?  If so, any suggestions on which platform to use? (Freenode is likely the one I'd suggest)

IRC servers
Our group moved off of Freenode a number of years ago due to instability.  We moved onto OFTC.  It's been pretty good.  Freenode is probably fine now.

Decision?
Did this ever get resolved?  I'd hang out in a mesh/AREDN IRC channel when I could.
