I use Linux.
The documentation has sections for 'Linux/Mac'.
If you would share more maybe I and/or others could help.

Are you talking of keeping the Mac OS, and running AREDN simultaneously?
Or do you have an obsolete Mac and want to make it a dedicated AREDN box?
Trying to understand what you're working with and the end goal...
(I recently put Debian on 2 obsolete Macbooks, and was very easy. Only had to hunt down a wifi driver, otherwise was seamless)
