Hi,
I have two questions, which are somehow related...
1. Anyone uses following device:
(POE-SW504GD) 4 Ports Mini Solar PoE Switch Optimized for Big PTZ Came | Hinovision Solutions LLC (Linovision USA)
It offers one 24V passive POE port and two 48V POE ports i.e. for telephones, and can be powered from 9 to 57V. There are models with more than two 48V ports available, too. I find them very interesting.
2. the related question ;-)
Let's say I have two antennas, like Ubiquiti Nanobeams, connected to to the 24V POE port of the above mentioned switch, talking DtD, and two phones connected to the 48V POE ports. Would I have to worry about the fact that I cannot manage the switch in terms of VLAN tagging? or, after the change from OLSR to Babel, is that problem solved?
Thanks guys!

Thank you

I just ordered two of them. I like the Idea of just having a small battery, like a 14.4V screwdriver lithium battery, powering this little thingy and directly get the 24V and 48V POE for an antenna and a phone out of it. Sounds like a perfect go-box device. Just too bad they are not managed (no VLAN settings possible), but as long as there's only one antenna connected, no problem :-) I will test them and let you know if they are any good for their money.
