Ethernet Switch

Hello all,

I currently have a Mikrotik hAP ac lite set up as my QTH node and currently have it tunneled into a friends node, my question is I'm currently running out of ports on the back of my router and was wondering if I could buy a netgear ethernet switch and hook it up like that or if i would have to get another router and do another node?

Port Expansion

James, any current dumb Ethernet switch will work for port expansion off of a hAP. Just don't grab an old switch out of your junk box. In the early days, they didn't handle VLAN traffic correctly, but now all of them do.

I found acouple fairly priced

I found acouple fairly priced ones on Amazon by netgear roughly 20 bucks
