I ran into a repeatable issue on the Cudy TR‑3000 after flashing AREDN:

The flash process completed normally

As soon as the node rebooted, it powered off completely (no LEDs)

Any manual reboot also resulted in a full shutdown instead of coming back up
Solution: check the side boot‑selector switch
The TR‑3000 has a small 2‑position slide switch on the side of the unit, next to the reset button. Cudy doesn’t document it well, but it functions like a boot‑source selector (similar to GL.iNet’s NAND/NOR switch).
If this switch is in the recovery position during or after flashing AREDN, the bootloader tries to load the wrong partition. The kernel can’t mount the expected rootfs, and the hardware watchdog shuts the device down instead of rebooting.
Flipping the switch to the other position immediately fixed the issue. After that, the node boots normally in ~30 seconds and reboots cleanly every time.
