Connect LHG-5nd to hAPac
Very new to AREDN and limping my way through. I have successfully flashed a LHG-5nD dish and a MikroTik hAPac with AREDN software on both, latest stable build at the time of this post. How do I connect the two together to make them talk to each other? I have the LHG-5nd powered on and running with a LAN connection to the back of the MikroTik hAPac. My goal is to use the LHG-5nD and the main "antenna" and point it towards a neighboring node. I dont see any clear instructions to integrate the two and or "bridge". Any advice is helpful.

Connect an ethernet cable
Connect an ethernet cable between the LHG and port 5 on the hAP. You can also go into the advanced configuration on the hAP and turn on the POE pass thru to power the LHG. That way you don't need to have 2 wall warts for the setup.

Port 5 on the hAP is the dtdlink port which allows any of the AREDN nodes to be connected to it and they will automatically recognize each other. If you needed to connect multiple AREDN nodes together (say a hAP and 2 LHGs) you can use a simple ethernet switch to connect all the dtdlink ports together.

Most, not all dumb switches

If you needed to connect multiple AREDN nodes together (say a hAP and 2 LHGs) you can use a simple ethernet switch to connect all the dtdlink ports together.

Usually, but not always.  The DtD link is Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) 2.  So you are passing VLAN tagged traffic.  Most dumb switches will simply pass the VLAN tagging, but some won't.
