Hi everyone,
I’ve set up a SIP-based VoIP testing service on the AREDN network. It can be used to quickly test phone connectivity, audio quality, latency, codecs, and two-way RTP without registering the phone to a PBX.
Echo test
Dial 600@10.101.64.184 or Dial 10.101.64.184 and press 1.
Anything you say will be returned to you in real time. This is useful for testing microphone audio, speaker audio, latency, packet loss, and two-way RTP.
Audio playback test and client info
Dial 601@10.101.64.184 or Dial 10.101.64.184 and press 2.
The service responds by reading back the caller's SIP and VoIP client information
Feedback and test reports are welcome!

Sweet!
I set up my local PBX so that its extensions can dial 600 and reach your service.
Have you considered adding a PBX and configuring it compatible with N2MH's 'meshphone' ?

Hi Chuck,
Thank you! I’ve contacted Mark by email about joining the MeshPhone network and am currently waiting for his response.

If you cannot find raspbx-10-10-2020.zip, I have it here:
http://nc8q.ddns.net:4880/raspbx-10-10-2020.zip
Hi, Teng:
You can simply follow those configurations and set up a trunk to me and others.
There are many PBX trunks running over the World AREDN network.
I am still running raspbx-10-10-2020 on a Raspberry Pi 3B.
I have used Mark N2MH's configuration on recent IncrediblePBX images
on newer RPis and on an 64 bit AMD very very small form factor.
Or choose another GUI over asterisk release.

Hi Chuck,
Thank you for the information. I have already configured FreePBX 17 with Asterisk 22 and followed the N2MH MeshPhone instructions on my PVE server. Would it be possible to establish a trunk between my PBX and yours? If so, please let me know the required peer hostname/IP, usernames, authentication settings, and routing details. We can exchange the shared secret privately rather than posting it publicly.

Yes.
Hi, Teng:
I sent you some .conf file suggestions via this Forum's messaging.
I suggest that you advertise your PBX with a hostname like:
ke8bii-pbx
Then, you can put it or move it wherever you wish and DNS will find it. ;-)
