AREDN for VA TARPN
As we build out the VA TARPN packet network throughout Tidewater, including the Peninsula and Gloucester, we're looking at how we can utilize AREDN links for bridging some of the segments together.  We like the aspect that we can operate this completely autonomously from the internet, just like TARPN operates.  So it falls within our design constraints.

the VA TARPN packet network throughout Tidewater
Hi, Jason:

Is the VA TARPN packet network capable of routing via Internet Protocol?
If yes, any packet network device connected to an AREDN
network can link with any other packet network device also connected to
an AREDN node in the same AREDN network via IP address.
This would be configured the same as an internet link,
except it is radio.

I access a Winlink RMS 2 hops away using 5 GHz AREDN links.
(i.e. Internet Protocol, intranet, not internet)

73, Chuck
