Where can I get the nifty AREDN equipment label template?

AREDN™ labels and patches

We'll be setting up a shop on the website soon. Until then, you can order the AREDN™ stick-on labels or the iron-on embroidered cloth patches directly from me. Just mail a check with your order to my callbook address.

The self-stick equipment labels are $8.00 for five labels and the embroidered cloth patches are $5.00 each.

good job

I gave one adhesive label the old microwave oven test: one KW at 2400 MHz for 90 seconds.

The water boiled - the label was not bothered.

What about a cold test?

Thanks for he test results.

Can you test the label in liquid nitrogen to see if it survives low temperatures too?

test

This is a standard "ham test" to evaluate unknown materials that may be in the path of microwave RF. It could absorb a lot of energy, or just let it pass through, If the label came out toasted, then I would be sure to keep it off the front of my Nano Stations - which is a kind of obvious place to put one - at least for a club demo.

So this label passed the test.

PS: Randy, I am disappointed you did not give me an opening to say: "Life is too short for QRP"

AREDN labels with additional information

Are you asking for a new design or telling us that you are making a label?

If you are asking, I will design a new label and get some printed up in the next few weeks. I plan to post a draft of the revised label at the end of next week for review by the AREDN community.

Oh, sorry for that. My

Oh, sorry for that. My thought process never made it to the page! Thanks for the info & offer but I'm designing a mesh equipment label I can laser print on weatherproof labels. I won't use any trademark or copyright protected content. After posting my initial question, I re-thought my actual label needs. I'm going to print firmware rev, frequency, power output, antenna gain, power consumption, contact info & link address to a local forum (m3sh.net) for our group. Any objection to indicating that the firmware was obtained from aredn.org ?

Labels with additional data

Thanks for clarifying that. It seems like a good idea and I would like to know how well your labels hold up to the weather.

I certainly have no objections to you indicating the firmware source is AREDN.

If you want any AREDN branded labels or other merchandise, please contact me.
