Anyone have any success with GL.iNet AR-750S in nightly builds?

I am attempting to image an AR-750S (Slate) using the 2/4 nightly build aredn-2283-bf229b0-ath79-nand-glinet_gl-ar750s-nor-nand-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin.

I loaded the image on the OpenWRT upgrade page and it installs, reboots, and assigns an IP address of 192.168.1.11. At this point, things get weird. First, the ports are not working as I expect. I would normally use the right LAN port at this stage, but it will not come up. Only the middle, DtD, port works. I can navigate to the setup page, but most of the config settings are missing (see PDF screenshot). If I try to update the nodename and password, I  immediately get a "Bad Gateway" message. I tried the usual tricks to resolve this, including clearing the DNS cache, clearing the browser cache, a new browser tab, a different browser, rebooting the Ethernet switch, and unplugging and reinserting the Ethernet cables. All with no effect. The node does not reboot and I can navigate back to the NOCALL page - no settings were changed or saved.

I tried the other GL-AR750S image (nor instead of non-nand) and it will not get past the SHA check on the OpenWRT firmware upload page.

I was able to get a support data file if that is of any use at this stage of the process. However, it downloads as a gzip (.gz) file and not tgz (is that new?) If anyone wants this, I'll convert and upload it. Here is the sysinfo screen data:

If anyone has had any success in getting this to work, I'd appreciate knowing the secret sauce. Thanks.

Yes.  Too many people could not handle a .tgz.  That included the GitHub.

Is the Forum going to be updated as well to accept gzip files or are we expected to convert it manually?

Thanks.

GZIP files

Attaching GZIP files is enabled for NEW forum posts as a separate file attachment type. Due to the limitations of the current platform, We cannot just simply add a new file type to the Support File Attachments.
