AirRouter AR = AirRouter HP ?

Other than the different WiFi antennas & properties, power feed and ubnt IP address, are there any other differences between the two?
Are there any differences when flashing AREDN?
Are there any functional differences, other than power, after flashing?
Why would one choose one over the other?

HP vs non-HP

The  HP model doesn't cost all that much more, I've skipped the non-HP altogether.

Our local MVMA group has a "loaner kit" we give to local hams interested in mesh;  has a NanoStation and an AirRouter HP.

Included in the loaner kit is a small outdoor antenna with about  14' of  8x coax  (with reverse SMA connector) and a clip-on type mount (for rain gutters or whatever).   Although there is 2db loss in that  coax... users see a 10db S/N increase when using the outdoor antenna (12db total increase, 2db swallowed by the coax); compared with just  sitting the AirRouter near a window.  I really like the HP versions antenna jack; adds flexibility..

Totally agree.
Totally agree.

Also, the non-HP version requires 5VDC via a wall wart.
The HP version is standard 12-24VDC PoE.

Thank you Don!
Thanks for the link.
It would have saved me a lot of grief had I known about it earlier.
