ac lite connecting to router resets ac lite
I flashed my ac lite with 3.25.2.0 and can create a mesh connection with my ac3, but when I plug the ac lite into my home router (using port 1 here from https://downloads.arednmesh.org/snapshots/readme.md and https://arednmesh.readthedocs.io/en/latest/arednHow-toGuides/home-router... ) the ac lite gets hot and turns both LEDs off, which made me worried about some electrical fault.

I don't think my router does passive PoE, has anyone seen something like this?

I ended up getting around
I ended up getting around this by powering the device with the poe injector that comes with some mikrotik gear, it seems like it wants power on port 1 when port 1 is active but when my home router wouldn't do that it didn't know what to do.

POE
Catherine, if you're going to power the hAP with POE, it needs 24V POE.  Normally most home routers can't provide 24V POE; they'll provide 48V POE upon demand.   Normally it just senses that the device on that port wants 48V and provides it accordingly.  But the hAP shouldn't be asking for it.   Log into your router if you can and check the port configuration.  If you can configure that port for no POE and just use the provided POE injector you should be OK.

Hope this helps.
