Hello,
I've had mixed results updating a LOT of nodes to 4.26.7.0 ... it either goes really smoothly (albeit slowly) but works just fine or it hoses connections and in one case bricks the device.
I've found a pattern and before I try to put this on Github I'd like to see if anyone also has seen this. All the nodes I'm having problems updating had nightly builds post 4.26.1.0 on them. So far going direct from 4.26.1.0 to 4.26.7.0 seems to work but if there is a nighly build then it can fail. Specifically, in my last session of frustration I had these two fail
hAP ac2 on 20260203-2d86c6ad ... updating to 4.26.7.0 crashed the device and I had to go all the way to tinypxe and re install
SXT 5HPnD on 20260203-2d86c6ad ... updating to 4.26.7.0 caused loss of rf connectivity. Was able to roll back but see below.
Funny ... both were on the same nightly build. Hmmmm. And attempting to roll back to 4.26.1.0 using the sysupgrade file put the nightly back (at least that is what shows on the information page).
Anyone here able to share some guidance? Suggestions?
Ed
