3.17.1.)RC1 firmware AirRouterHP
Are there compatibility issues between devices flashed with current 3.16.1.1 and those with  beta 3.17.1.ORC1 firmware

Hard coded in the SSID in
Hard coded in the SSID in basic setup is a "v3". This means this device is compatible with all other devices that are also v3. This includes 3.16.1.x and later as of today. It also includes more older versions, but no one should be that far back. I'm not aware of anyone with specific plans to change v3 for now.

problem upgrade 3.17.1(RC1) to 3.18.9.0
I wanted to upgrade AirRouter HP with current  “3.17.1 (RC1)” firmware to 3.18.9.0
However, file  will not load “aredn-3.18.9.0-ubnt-airrouter-sysupgrade.bin”  
The load button is grayed out.
Any advice

A Grayed out button...
.. typically means that the tunnel software is loaded.  It has to be unloaded, then reloaded after the upgrade.
