VLANs, OpenWRT and AREDN

Hi,
I've got a node running on a BulletM2. It is connected to the shack "reverse wifi hotspot" - a TP-Link TL-WR743ND re-flashed with OpenWRT that connects a bunch of shack wired devices to the wifi. Well, I can connect to the AREDN node from anywhere on the wifi, but the node needs the VLAN dealt with to get through to the wider, non-mesh, network. Any guides or pointers how to do this with OpenWRT?

Bill,  it would be easier to put the OpenWRT wifi device into a bridge mode--meaning the devices in your ham shack are getting a direct IP address from the BulletM2.   Then with a smart 802.1q switch,  configure a standard WAN access on the bullet to your non-mesh network.   All the routing and complexity goes through the bullet and is already implemented.  The devices on wifi in the shack have full access and are on the mesh network.  They route all default non-mesh traffic out the bullet's WAN network (presumable also to the internet).    No part 97 RF occurs when the shack computers access the internet and thus all normal internet browsing can occur.

The ceiling of the bullet (AREDN) is 13 IP addresses max in the current UI setup allowed, however.
