Updating Firmware on a Mikrotik LHG 2 Dish
I have a Mikrotik LHG 2 dish that I am trying to reactivate. It currently has 3.22.12.0 firmware I tried to go to 3.23.0 version which is the next upgrade to the firmware before going all the way to the latest.  I get this error message "Firmware cannot be updated. The upload file is not recognized. I got the 3.23.0 file from the AREDNMESH.org Firmware page.  I don't understand this why it won't take the next firmware update. I have rebooted the node but this did not change anything. Does anyone have a solution to this?

You can try this
Try following the procedure here by installing the "DangerousUpgrade" package on your node running 3.22.12.0 and then upgrade it to the 3.23.
The older online documentation mentions it here: https://docs.arednmesh.org/en/3.25.8.0/arednHow-toGuides/firmware_tips.h...

That did it
That did it. Thank You very much. I got it to 3.24.xx until I get a few others done then will take them the rest of the way to 4.26.

The Dangerous Upgrade option
The Dangerous Upgrade option i really handy.  I have a LHG-5nD that almost always requires it.  Although one thing I also have found on that node is if I try to update it via the LAN port, it fails, but if I update via an RF connection, it works more reliably.

If this is a reactivation, why not load 4.26.x.y factory.bin then sysupgrade.bin?
