Hi Team, results of first applications over AREDN Halow.
TeamTalk 5: I installed the server on my MacBook pro, with applications on the MacBook and my iphone. Successfully ran voice call. Video worked from iphone to macbook. TeamTalk on MacBook wasn't able to drive the camera... I suspect had nothing to do with the halow connection so I'm ignoring that. The whole thing including researching instructions for Team Talk, installing/running the server, then apps on two devices took about 8 hrs. I consider great success and modest investment in time, from knowing nothing to successful connection.
Reolink camera:
I had a Reolink 810H camera already, and Reolink client on my Macbook. I installed the camera on one AREDN node, and Macbook on a second. Opened the camera veiwing program, searched for new camera, immediately found and worked perfectly. Time invested: 30 min. Very fast stream too.
Nodes: Pair of Morse Micro Halow link 1s. This was just across the back yard. Will expand from here.
