HaLow hardware
Hello,

I'm in the process of designing and producing a HaLow product for the open market as there are very few available.

I am wondering if there is much interest in working together for AREDN support? I would love to have a firmware well supported for the amateur radio community.

Also since ham hardware does not need FCC certification it would be possible to have an amplifier integrated for this community.

Thanks and 73

HaLow and AREDN
Mark, in order to be supported by AREDN, a product first needs to be supported by OpenWrt.  That being said, a higher-powered HaLow device would be very desirable.

Understood, OpenWRT shouldn't
Understood, OpenWRT shouldn't be an issue at all.
For power, what would be useful for this? I'd like to start designing the front end so I can send everything off together to be made.

Thanks

HaLow power
The most popular device currently supported, the ALFA Network Tube-AHM. puts out 200 mW.  I'd say at least 10 dB above that, 13 dB above would be better.
