I am about a week into this. It appears that Mikrotik has locked down non Mikrotik RouterOS upgrades/replacements to their firmware. As suggested I attempted to downgrade 7.19.4 to the stable V6 release. When I tried to do this, I received an error message that 7.19.4 could not be down versioned to a V6 release.
Is the above true? If yes, then Mikrotik versions with the latest factory flash are unusable for AREDN? The online hAP ac3 documentation could use some updating. If I can receive some guidance on the AREDN load over 7.19.4 I would be happy to document the steps needed and submit for inclusion into the hAP ac3 documentation tree.
Thanks for the assist. Joe

Did you first load the factory.bin file, then the sysupgrade.bin file did not load?
I see that the hAP-ac2 has a sysupgrade-v7.bin file, but the hAP-ac3 does not!
Maybe a sysupgrade-v7.bin file needs to be created for the hAP-ac3?
