All the Tiny pxe servers (pxesrv) that I can find say they are starting "10:19:54 AM TFPTd 192.168.1.10:69 started..." not TFTPd
and the server does not start. I guess that I need an older version. Does anyone have one or know where I can get one?

My pxesrv file is about 20MB. The oldest date that I see is early March 2025. It worked OK two weeks ago.

This site and a couple others are listed in AREDN Docs just above the First Install Checklists section. And I think I used it on a pair of SXTsq 5 ac nodes and a hAP ac2. I set the MikroTik System/RouterBoard/Settings to have "try ethernet first then NAND" Boot Protocol. That way you do not have to mess with the
Reset button. Get everything ready to go outside the node, then power on the node, and it goes to Tiny PXE Svr and gets the rb.elf file.

When trying to use PXE Srv, you need to set up your service computer so it will work. This means enabling paths (set rules) through the firewalls and anti-virus apps so that PXE Srv can communicate with your node. I had a lot of frustration before I learned that.

I programmed a hAP ac3 tonight with my Win 11 PC running the PXE Srv that I got last March. A few challenges, but following the AREDN Docs instructions worked.
