RB SXTsqG-5-ac does not accept recent Nightly Builds

History here;
  https://www.arednmesh.org/comment/21122#comment-21122

But, please reply here.
There are 2 concurrent issues about loading firmware on a Mikrotik SXT.
Mine is a RB-SXTsqG-5-ac
The other issue on the Forum may be loading current stable on a RB SXTsq-(HP)5-nD

MikroTik SXTsq 5 ac (RBSXTsqG-5acD) && Nightly 2397: Failure
I keep trying and failing.
I can boot aredn-2397-0f7a9d9-ipq40xx-mikrotik-mikrotik_sxtsq-5-ac-initramfs-kernel.bin
I can upload aredn-2397-0f7a9d9-ipq40xx-mikrotik-mikrotik_sxtsq-5-ac-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin
6 to 30 minutes later:
The device does not respond to 192.168.1.1
nor does it issue an IP address via DHCP to my workstation.
I have LED blinkage, but the device is as dumb as a box of rocks.
I did a Wi-Fi scan at 10 MHz bandwidth hoping to find the device. Nothing found.

Tried:
scp -rP2222 aredn-2397-0f7a9d9-ipq40xx-mikrotik-mikrotik_sxtsq-5-ac-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin root@192.168.1.1:/tmp
ssh -p2222 root@192.168.1.1

root@NOCALL:~# sysupgrade -n aredn-2397-0f7a9d9-ipq40xx-mikrotik-mikrotik_sxtsq-5-ac-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin
Tue Jan  3 00:29:36 UTC 2023 upgrade: Commencing upgrade. Closing all shell sessions.
Command failed: Connection failed
root@NOCALL:~# Connection to 192.168.1.1 closed by remote host.
Connection to 192.168.1.1 closed.
gelmce@nc8q-acer:/tftp$

? Device should power up in 'first boot' status ?

Same result.
Does not issue IP address to computer.
Does not respond to nmap -p80,8080 192.168.1.1/24

Hi, Chuck.
Hi, Chuck.
I wanted to check back on this to see if you ever got your SXTsqG-5ac unit to accept a nightly build.
You helped me out with a MikroTik LHG node that was getting an "Invalid Mesh IP address" error when saving the configuration after uploading the sysupgrade file.
For my issue with my LHG, I filed a bug report on git. The development team fixed the problem the next day and my LHG is now up and running. (It was a simple problem.). Did you try filing a bug report?

Hi, John:

No, not resolved.
Yes, github issue filed.

OK. You're way ahead of me. I
OK. You're way ahead of me. I hope the dev team provides a solution soon.
