Supported devices
In the devices supported list the model UBNT PBE-M5-620 is included, but, here in Europe, this is no more available. The model UBNT PBE-5AC-620 is available. Is this Model UBNT PBE-5AC-620 supported too?

I don't believe any AC devices are compatible. I'd steer clear of it.

Thanks Chuk, all my other nodes are Ubiquiti, so I will test how the Mikrotik works with Ubiquiti.

All supported devices work well except

All supported devices, mixed manufacturers, work well except Mikrotik with others at 5 MHz bandwidth.
Else, everything will link if

  • sufficient SNR ( => ~15 dB )
  • channel matches
  • bandwidth matches
  • SSID matches

I have had 2 links matching Ubiquiti (PBE and Nanostation) matched with Mikrotik (LHG).

Mixed devices
Thanks, Chuck. What's about mixing SISO device (bullet M5HP with sector antenna 13 dBi) and MIMO device (LHG XL HP5) both at 10MHz Bw?
The link is relatively short ( about 8 KM). It should work even considering 6 dB lost mixing MIMO and SISO. 
It's a temporary solution waiting to have the budget to replace the Bullet with a MIMO device.

The 5 GHz 802.11ac radio can function as a 'Part 15' 'AP' or 'client', but not as an 'ad-hoc' mesh node.
Only the 2.4 GHz radio can function as an 'ad-hoc' AREDN mesh node.

And with it's internal antenna, it will do so only for VERY short range.  Obviously how short would depend on what is on the other end of the path.
But I agree that the hAP is a very handy device (I have two of them).

right! I flashed one with AREDN firmware and installed 2 external antennas for a 2.4GHz link. It works fine and allows a DtD connection with an external 5GHz device powered through port N°5. Really very handy!
