I have a Microtik SXTsq5 (RBSXTsq5HPnD) and I can't get it to load the firmware. I have tried multiple time to load the factory .elf file and have bin unsuccessful. Anyone have an idea or the procedure to load the firmware?

I just loaded one of these and it worked fine. I use Linux Mint. Make sure you use the dumb switch and DO NOT reboot the Mikrotik after the step with dnsmasq. Let it do its thing. Ping it, if successful go directly to the 192.168.1.1 ip and get to the admin screen for the sysupgrade file. The only time I got a 'Bad Gateway' was when I inadvertently loaded the wrong 'factory' file in the first step.
The directions Chuck listed work.
