As part of a larger ham project, I have 2 ubiquiti bullet wifi units. W8ERD-WiFi2 and W8ERD-Wifi3.
Both are set to be access points. No other connections. Only one on the air at a time. 3 is newer and 2 is older.
If I try to connect to 2 from iphones (4S), they say “cannot connect to W8ERD-WIFI2”
If I try to connect to 3 from iphones, they never connect and just show a spinning wheel.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
Are the Bullets M2 or M5? Might be a client that only does 5GHz and an AP on 2GHz?
Thanks. The bullets are both 2 ghz.
I finally got the newer bullet to work by changing the DHCP parameters.
The other one still does not connect.
The one that connects still is not right because I cannot connect 2 iphones running Grandstram Wave
thru it.

Thanks Chuck.Good thought. But these are AirOS bullets, and they do not have a limit that I can find.
I am only trying to connect 2 hosts.

Make sure they are not in a special AirOS only mode, e.g. P2P link or airmax mode.
