Mikrotik hAP ac lite - bricked!!!
Hi friends.
How do you do? I hope you stay all well. I've my hAP bricked... I needed to change LAN config from 1 IP to 5 IP and it gave me errors.
So I've resetted config... I've entered new node name and password and it reboot itself. After that, no sign of life!
when I power on the hAP it blinks all leds, then only power led stay on and cannot reach any port... port leds always off.
It seems not able to load any OS. I've tried to load original RouterOS with Mikrotik Netinstall with no success.
Have I broken it in a definitive way????
Anyone can help me?

:-(

Leo I used netinstall 6.4.3.8
Leo I used netinstall 6.4.3.8 and you will need to reinstall the origional OS. It has been a long time since I did it but try this for the instructions.

Good luck

Thank you, Denis.
Thank you, Denis.
Using NetInstall from Mikrotik I cannot reach the device. USing PXEserv (instead) yes... It load RB.ELF file but, unfortunately, device remain "stopped" and no eth led port flash even I attach a PC. I've reloaded rb.elf many times but no restart at all. Do I trash device out?

No don't trash it! I remember
No don't trash it! I remember having to try it with many resets before it was found. I wish I could remember exactly what I did but you will need to bring it back to the original Mikrotik firmware before reinstalling the AREDN firmware. Also Set the laptop to static IP address 192.168.88.2 as the original is router is192.168.88.1 by default.

[SOLVED]
After some days I've restarted and installed aredn firmware via tftp on eth1.
First time and goal... I was able to reach device on eth2 at 192.168.1.1
Upgraded firmware and again connected to 192.168.1.1
Change password and after reboot I change my eth0 to dhcp and reach for final setup localnode.local.mesh.
Probably I make something wrong... but now all is ok.
Thanks for your info... will be useful to come back to RouterOs.
