I'm involved in two groups. The AREDN Development team and the San Diego Mesh Working Group. The Qualcomm meeting is a local SDWG event...
But I think having a periodic Google Hangout sort of event might be a great idea for the AREDN Project... particulary when there's an upcoming release or milestone of interenst to the broader Emcomm community.
I think the video aspect is particularly compellng. It's to bad Hangouts only supports 10 concurrent connections. Perhaps a YouTube announcement and then a Google Hangout discussion (without video)
Let's keep talking about this and see where it goes.
