tp-linkv2 seems not to provide ip using dumb switch
OK, I understand this is a user error, but

My two tp-link210v2 nodes will not provide dhcp addr when using a cisco dumb switch.

conection is

POE from power supply to 210
lan port from power connected to cisco port 1
remote rig unit setup for dhcp connection to cisco port 2

remote rig does not get ip
node shows nothing connected

mike, to test out, bypass the switch and connect the remote rig directly into the LAN on the POE brick of the tplink.   Does it get an IP address?  If so something going on with the switch config.   If not, then something going on with the mesh node.    Helpful to attach a support data download -- can review the mesh node to ensure all is as expected.

without switch dhcp works
Joe,
Must be a switch issue. connected RPI to tp-link brick and it works... will look around for a spare switch to continue test.

Thanks
mike
