Conrad, KG6JEI, developed support for several Ubiquiti AirMax devices with the Broadband-Hamnet group, adding a new dimension to the limited and aging Linksys WRT54G. The Ubiquiti devices enabled the ham community to move from the shack to the tower - changing the complexion of this technology from experimentation to a useful system suitable for emergency communications.
Conrad is a talented developer. For several years he served as this team’s chief architect and primary programmer as the AREDN group formed and grew.
While a project like this involves much more than coding, and it has certainly been a team effort, the AREDN firmware has greatly benefited from Conrad's contributions, insight and coding skill.
